Responsible environmental management plays a significant role in securing the future of our earthmoving
industry.

BG & L Ostler Pty Ltd are committed to managing all aspects of our operations in an environmentally responsible
manner at all times. BG & L Ostler Pty Ltd consider our performance in the area of environmental management
as a factor in our success to date as an earthmoving company. We care about the environment and encourage
all associated with our company to adopt our policy of;

"Managing activities in an environmental, socially and economically responsible manner, so as to meet public expectations"

To ensure environmentally responsible behaviour is accepted as an integral part of our operations, we
specifically undertake to;

• Communicate and consult effectively with our associated businesses, employees and the wider
  community
• Develop waste management strategies in all our activities and operations by preventing pollution,
  reducing waste and where practicable committing to waste recovery and recycling as opposed to
  disposal
• Ensure that environmental management considerations are fully evaluated, costed and detailed in
  tender bid preparation
• Conduct operations in compliance with local environmental regulations, licences and legislation and
  exceeding these commitments where practicable
• Educate our employees and contractors on their environmental responsibilities and ensure that this is
  integrated into their work practices, training and decision making
• Review environmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement
